Around the country and the world, cities are changing to become more welcoming to pedestrians and cyclists. Join city planner and architectural designer Jeff Speck at the Empire Room, 203 S. Elm St., Greensboro, on Friday, March 28, starting at 8:30 a.m. for a free half-day workshop to learn more about how to make the Triad’s cities and towns more walkable and bikeable. This session will focus on how to make places that provide useful, safe, comfortable and interesting places to walk.
