Two burglaries were reported this week in the 500 block of South Mendenhall Street. In addition, residents in the area of the Province reported two cars stolen.
The burglaries were reported on Wednesday at 11 p.m. and Thursday at midnight. The 500 block of South Mendenhall runs between Walker Avenue and Spring Garden Street and includes a mix of apartments, businesses and churches.
The stolen cars both were reported on Thursday. The first report came from the 800 block of Lilly Avenue, off South Mendenhall Street, at 2:30 a.m. The other came at 10:30 p.m. Thursday evening from the 500 block of Houston Street, off Fulton.
