Duke Energy will perform routine tree trimming in the College Hill Historic District during UNCG’s spring break period (approximately March 10 to 17, 2014). Contractors doing the trimming will follow ANSI pruning standards. Removing a tree within the Historic District requires Historic Preservation Commission approval, while routine pruning requires only city staff approval.
Our website is a resource for College Hill residents and anyone interested in our neighborhood and historic district. The blog on our home page or our welcome page are places to start.
