Yard Waste to be Collected; Next Recycling Collection
Yard waste should be put at the curb by 7 a.m. Thursday May 28. Collections will be made by Saturday evening. For what it’s worth, the last time, it was picked up Friday morning. Click here for details.
Bulk trash is still being picked up only by request until further notice.
Recycling is still collected every other Friday. The next recycling pickups will be:
- Friday June 5
- Friday June 19
- THURSDAY July 2, one day early because July 3 is the city government’s day off for Independence Day

- Historic Preservation
Wednesday May 27, 4 p.m. It will be a virtual meeting using the Zoom videoconferencing app. To view the meeting or to speak on an agenda item, email HPC staff Stefan-leih Geary by 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 26, 2020.In-person meetings are usually held in the Plaza Level Conference Room, Melvin Municipal Building, 300 W. Washington Street. The alternate location is the City Council Chamber.
